The QOS Virtual Hub™ allows enterprise customers to have vendor-agnostic flexibility in their edge network
Today, QOS Networks, a managed network solution provider, has announced their entrance into the Virtual Network Services space with the Virtual Hub™, a Network Function Virtualization (NFV) platform. Compatible with SD-WAN, firewalls, switches, WAN optimization, security, and more, the Virtual Hub virtualizes edge functionality so a customer can manage their network from a single pane of glass.
QOS Networks has long been a pioneer in the SD-WAN marketplace with their zero-touch deployment practice and their purpose-build SD-WAN Network Operations Center (NOC). The Virtual Hub by QOS brings unheard of flexibility to their customers by allowing them to bring in a wide selection of vendors to their network and manage them seamlessly from the Hub’s portal. This means enterprise organizations are not held to vendor lock-in, allowing disparate networks to function without a complete overhaul.
“Customers are demanding more complex solutions at the edge delivered in a simpler way. The Virtual Hub leverages commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware, allowing for flexibility and simplicity. Our Network Function Virtualization platform is the first in the industry to also include a virtual store where customers can select their desired Virtual Network Functions (VNFs) and integrate directly into their Hub”, says QOS CEO, Frank Cittadino.
The orchestration layer that QOS is providing is unmatched in the industry. With the ability to easily “shop” for hardware, software, or licenses, a customer can add any network solution to their Virtual Hub from within their management portal. Customers can select from vendors like Cisco, Fortinet, Riverbed, AWS, Azure, SAP, and other platforms. QOS delivers their uCPE device to a customer and can customize any deployment for that particular location’s needs. This includes security requirements, deduplication, acceleration and more.
Customers want flexibility and the advanced intelligence that comes with the Virtual Hub allows them to dictate the configuration of their networks. The ability to integrate virtual applications, software, and any hardware is the key to businesses being able to scale quickly and with efficiency.
QOS Networks is the pioneer behind delivering SD-WAN solutions and Virtual Network Services to enterprises across the globe. QOS Networks thrives on the customer experience of fanatical support with the market’s first virtual network specific Network Operations Center (NOC). Expertly designing, rapidly implementing, and acutely managing simple to complex network environments has placed QOS Networks as the provider for SD-WAN and Virtual Network services to enterprises.
