QOS works with companies in all stages of their network journey. During the planning phase, the QOS professional services team leads the conversation to establish the plan, priorities, and sequence of the rollouts to each of the customer’s sites. QOS mobilizes the project teams to plan and conduct project kickoff workshop and review of project plan details.

The QOS professional services team works side-by-side with customers to determine the current status of their process capabilities, determining basic system configurations and implications, and defining the functional and technical requirements of the customer. We’re looking for things like:

Prepare Setup Phase
The Customer core system setup includes the initial configuration of the orchestration layer, data center infrastructure, and the deployment of technologies and recommended system modifications related to the “core” of the customer’s edge platform. We’re looking at items like:
Data Center activities
Design, config, and implement data center edges
Dynamic routing with BGP or OSPF
Use Acceptance Testing
Edge Site Activities
Overview, device, business policy and firewall standards
Overlay flow control
The purpose of the Deploy activities is to complete all data centers and edge sites. Additional User Stories will be collected, and systems will be improved in Sprint style iterations.
QOS will pre-configure IP information and test circuit during installation
Implement data center devices and work with Customer team on all aspects of install in person or remote to ensure devices are configured, functioning and perform to standards.
Once each edge element has been configured to the specified requirements and unit testing has been completed, the customer will conduct the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process with QOS Networks’ assistance in accordance to ensure exceptional network operability.
QOS believes in enabling our customer’s teams to be knowledgeable and proactive. QOS will train helpdesk, engineering and administrators on how to operate their edge solutions. Training points include:
Overview, QOE, Transport, Applications, Sources, Destination and Business
Best practices on monitoring
Known issue knowledge transfer of any potential items not identified in technical documentation
Day Zero Support
From the first step of deciding on which edge solution to implement into your business to establishing a project plan, the QOS professional services team is there to share best practices and ensure project success.
Adding new circuits is simple – QOS will help configure and connect new or existing circuit connections as well as test its functionality. QOS will also add the circuit monitoring to the NOC (Network Operation Center) monitoring.
QOS will establish a cadence plan to provide updates, answer questions, and address new needs throughout the project deployment process. QOS will serve as a customer’s single point of contact as necessary.
